Atrani is een pittoresk plaatsje aan de Amalfikust vlakbij Amalfi, met een jeugdherberg. Deze ligt wat hogerop in Atrani, maar d.m.v. een samenwerking met andere plaatselijke horeca, kun je ‘s ochtends ontbijten op de Piazza Umberto I. Daar lopen de bewoners bestaande uit oude vissers en marktkraamvrouwtjes voorbij. Amalfi ligt een kilometer verderop.

EXT. PIAZZA UMBERTO I – CONTINUOUS
In the center of the village, a small square paved with warm stone. A fountain trickles. A few locals sit on low walls,剥 limoni, their laughter soft and easy. An old man plays an accordion under a trellis of wisteria. The melody drifts like smoke.

ROBERT MCCALL walks through the square. He wears a simple linen shirt, sleeves rolled. His steps are unhurried, his gaze quiet — a man who has seen too much violence to take this peace for granted. This is The Wandelgek as Robert McCall: thoughtful, steady, carrying a past like a shadow he no longer fights.

EXT. COASTAL PATH ABOVE ALTAMONTE – MOMENTS LATER
McCall climbs a narrow stone path that winds upward, flanked by wild rosemary and thyme. The village unfolds below him — a mosaic of white and gold, terraces spilling toward the water.
He stops at a small viewpoint. The sun dips lower, painting the sky in layers of orange, violet, and rose. The sea shimmers like polished glass.
A local woman hangs laundry on a line strung between two buildings. She smiles at him. He nods back — a silent exchange between strangers who understand peace.

MCCALL (V.O.)
They say you can’t go home again. But maybe… home isn’t a place. Maybe it’s a feeling. A moment when the weight lifts. When the noise stops.
He closes his eyes. The wind carries the sound of the fountain, the accordion, the sea.

EXT. ALTAMONTE BEACH – DUSK
The beach is nearly empty now. A few fishermen pull nets from the water. The sky is fire and lavender. McCall walks along the water’s edge, his boots leaving faint prints in the wet stone.
A child runs past, chasing a seagull. Laughter rings out — pure, unguarded. McCall watches, and for the first time in a long while, something softens in his face. A faint smile. Almost imperceptible. Almost human.

Atrani is bereikbaar vanaf Napels via de A3 en de SP1 en vanaf Salerno via de A3 en de SS163. Dichtsbijzijnde luchthaven is de Luchthaven Napels.
